What We Do

Yathva Energy Solutions undertakes various activities to cater to the needs of our customers both industrial and residential. Being experts in the domain, we understand the challenges being encountered by the customers in the energy industry and provide personalized solutions to their satisfaction.

Testing and Commissioning

Yathva Energy Solutions recognizes the importance of testing and commissioning of the electrical equipment such as relays, breakers, transformers, CTs, PTs etc. after their installation.

Some of the testings we offer is as under:

1-> Tan Delta Testing

It’s a method of insulation testing that uses AC (often at low frequency) which measures the phase angle between applied voltage and current. A bit like power factor.

2-> DCRM testing

With the deregulation of the electrical power industry, utilities and service companies are operating in a changing business environment.

3-> Relay testing (All types)

Type tests are needed to prove that a protection relay meets the claimed specification and follows all relevant standards.

4-> Contact Resistance Measurement

Static contact resistance is measured by injecting a dc current through the breaker and measuring the milli-voltage drop. A four wire measurement method is used.

5-> Power Quality
Measurement

A simple way for a technician to determine power quality in their system without sophisticated equipment is to compare voltage readings.

6-> Insulation Resistance
Test

An insulation resistance (IR) test measures the total resistance between any two points separated by electrical insulation.

7-> Thermal Imaging of hotspots

The Ladle Hot Spot Detection (LHSD) system uses Infrared (IR) technology to monitor the temperature of the ladle steel structure.

8-> Hi-Pot Testing of Cables

The test is designed to detect that gaps or clearances between conductive parts and earth (or the product chassis) are sufficient and that degradation.

9-> Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA) for Transformers

Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA) testing provides insight into the mechanical and electrical integrity of transformers, reactors.

10-> I-V curve measurement for Solar Panels

An I-V curve measurement is performed by applying a series of voltages to the device. At each voltage, the current flowing through the device is measured.

11-> Solar Inverter efficiency measurement

The efficiency of the inverter generally ranges from 95 to 98%. The efficiency may vary depending on the DC input power and voltage.

12-> BDV and Acidity testing of Transformer Oil etc

BDV test means the Breakdown Voltage Test. This test is performed for verifying the dielectric strength of the oil of the transformer.
